Mary Anne Chamberlain Thriepland 1810-1840

Died- 4 August 1840, Jaunpur, Uttar Pradesh, India 

Mary Anne Chamberlain was born in November 1810 at Dinapore. She married to Thomas Thriepland, Deputy Collector of Jaunpur on 14 April 1825 at Patna, Bihar and died of "Complications of Pregnancy" on 4 August 1840 at Jaunpur, Uttar Pradesh, India. Her daughter  Maria who was born on 1 August 1840 died on 7 August 1840. She was buried along with her mom.

Thomas Thriepland married for a second time to Sarah Parson in 1842 and both were killed by rebels on 6 June 1857 at Cutcherry, Jaunpur, Uttar Pradesh, India when troops of 13th Irregular Cavalry mutinied at Jaunpur.
