Robert Taylor, Esq 1812-1850

Died- 3 May 1850, Jaunpur, Uttar Pradesh, India 


Robert Tayler was born on 30 March 1812 to John Taylor and Elizabeth Wood. He was the younger brother of Ralph John Taylor, Civil and Session Judge, Bengal Civil Service.


21 July 1836- Robert Tayler married to Martha Anne Frances Richardson( daughter of Christopher Richardson) at Dinapore, Bengal.


He was a famous Indigo Planter of Hutowrey Tirhoot. In 1842, he also expanded his control over Indigo Factories of Champaran. Robert died of "Smallpox" on 3 May 1850 in Jaunpur, Uttar Pradesh, India.
