James Henry Howard was born on 21 September 1824. He was a well known Indigo Planter of Jounpore Noorpore Factory. Apart from being an Indigo Planter, he was also a Zamindar. He died on 15 January 1880 in Jaunpur, Uttar Pradesh, India.
